This workshop is designed and facilitated by AJ Lowik (they/them), and is open to participants who are transgender, transsexual, non-binary, agender, demigender, gender neutral, gender fluid, neutrois, and anyone who identities with a different sex or gender identity than that which they were assigned at birth.
Note: The rest of this description and the workshop title itself uses the language of ‘trans’ as a shorthand, recognizing that not all participants will identify in this way
This event is FREE, online and PRIVATE. Only those who register will receive the workshop Zoom link. You can keep your video and microphone off throughout the workshop. Do what feels safest to you! There will be people available to provide emotional support in the space.

Approaches:
We will explore three approaches to storytelling (poetry, drawing, and photography) and six broad themes (decisions, emotions, stigma, barriers/facilitators, language, and gender).
Objectives:
The goal of the session is to create a space for trans people to explore their own abortion experiences using different approaches to storytelling.
